Yes, I'm 4 months late but this was a very funny message I got around Halloween:
"Start of Halloween right by listening to Matt Debacco talk about the conditions needed to grow giant pumpkins and the challenges that occur when producing award winning pumpkins. Matt broke the Connecticut pumpkin record in 2008 when he produced a 1353 lb pumpkin. This pumpkin continues to hold the state record."

At some point in your life... you mean when you've finished your PhD life & invite us to your graduation (or what's it called)?
I would like to say that I have not been significantly represented in Beata's blog. Besides being canadian, a sports fanatic, and prone to the nasty American habit of too frequently using the word "like" I fucking rock. Stat.
In fact the poor Americans only have to grow pumpkins because they can't grow big enough turnips. Turnips as every Scotsman knows are the real vegetable to make Halloween lanterns with.
